Coastal Elegance Meets Club Comfort

The interior is designed to feel like a sophisticated coastal retreat and a private members' club. Natural materials, soft textures, and warm lighting create a space that is both refined and relaxed. The design avoids black and gold casino aesthetics, instead using cream, dark navy, burnt orange, and walnut. Surfaces feel tactile, like linen and stone, to enhance the sensory experience. The layout encourages both intimate dining and social poker play.

A palette inspired by the Australian coast runs throughout the venue. Cream backgrounds evoke sandy shores, dark navy reflects the evening sea, and burnt orange adds warmth like a coastal sunset. Walnut wood grounds the space with natural richness. Natural light during the day transitions to warm artificial lighting at night, creating a calm, inviting environment.

Tables are spaced to allow privacy while maintaining a social atmosphere. Acoustic treatments using linen and wood help manage sound, and lighting is focused on tables to create cozy pools of light. The result is a room that supports both a quiet dinner and a lively tournament night.

Materials and Textures

Natural Wood and Walnut Accents

Walnut wood is used for tables, bar tops, and wall paneling, bringing warmth and a sense of craftsmanship. The wood's grain adds visual interest and a tactile quality. Tables are solid walnut with a matte finish, wall paneling adds depth and acoustic warmth, and the wood is sustainably sourced.

Linen and Leather Upholstery

Seating features linen and leather upholstery in cream and navy tones. Linen adds a light, breathable feel, while leather provides durability and a classic club look. Dining chairs are upholstered in cream linen, lounge chairs in the card room use dark navy leather, and fabrics are chosen for comfort and easy maintenance.

Stone and Warm Lighting

Stone elements, such as the bar counter and feature wall, add a cool, grounding contrast to the warm woods. Lighting fixtures with warm bulbs create a soft, golden glow. The bar counter is made of honed limestone, pendant lights with linen shades cast a warm light, and candles on tables add to the intimate atmosphere.

Designed for Focus and Fun

The lounge layout minimizes distractions, with acoustic panels and soft furnishings. The atmosphere is social yet focused, ideal for both casual players and serious enthusiasts. Acoustic panels are covered in linen, a dedicated service area provides drinks and snacks, and the room can be configured for different tournament sizes.

Lighting and Ambience

From Day to Night

During the day, large windows fill the space with natural light, creating a bright and airy feel. As evening falls, warm artificial lighting takes over, transforming the venue into an intimate retreat. Window treatments allow control of natural light, dimmer switches adjust lighting levels, and evening lighting uses warm bulbs at 2700K.

Layered Lighting Design

Lighting is layered to provide general illumination, task lighting on tables, and accent lighting on architectural features. This creates depth and visual interest. Pendant lights over tables provide focused light, wall sconces add soft ambient light, and accent lights highlight wood paneling and stone.

Candlelight and Warmth

Candles on tables and subtle fireplace features add a cozy, romantic touch. The warm glow enhances the natural materials and makes the space feel welcoming. Candles are used on dining tables in the evening, the card lounge has low-level lighting to reduce eye strain, and the overall effect is calm and sophisticated.
